Our mission is to change the relationship between people and food. To offer meal-time solutions for busy professionals, senior citizens, multi-member families, college students, and anyone on a health-restricted diet. All the while creating an avenue to culinary life-style changes by providing individual wholesome, healthy meals and catered events using locally sourced organic foods whenever possible.

The Real Meal is a prepared meal delivery service designed to suit individual needs. Meals are priced by portion size both individually and catered.
WHAT WE DO
The Real Meal puts the gourmet back into any restricted diet. We offer a variety of choices addressing issues for those with diabetes, heart conditions, bariatric surgery, anorexia and other eating disorders, as well as gluten and other allergies. We have a dietician on staff and have working relationships with a variety of medical personnel.
We use organic, free range, and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Most importantly, we provide accurate portion control for weight management whether it be weight loss, weight gain, body building, or athletic maintenance. Using standard dietary guidelines, published and recognized diets, along with expert culinary techniques, The Real Meal provides healthy and delicious meals at affordable prices with convenient pick-up and delivery options. From school lunch boxes to family-dinner-table meals, The Real Meal provides delicious, healthy food for almost any occasion.
HOW WE WORK
Our posted menu rotates on an 11-week cycle, and we ask that you order on Tuesday for delivery the following Monday.
Each weekly menu contains an "Entree, Vegetable, Carb, and Chef's Choice" category. In addition, you can pick a protein option to pair with a weekly sauce under the "Pick Your Protein" category. Protiens for almost all entrees can be substituted with Tofu upon request. Some "Chef's Choice" options fulfill vegetable and carb requirements. Entree's are noted with all inclusions.
Click below to set up a brief consultation, which is required before beginning a specialized meal plan with us. Once your consultation is complete, all orders must be placed by 11:59pm Tuesday for pick-up/delivery the following Monday.

Meals are delivered in microwaveable containers. Containers suitable for microwave or traditional oven are available an additional cost of 50 Cents per container. All lids should be removed before heating.

Kitty began her culinary career as a personal and private chef, cooking for dignitaries, politicians, and celebrities around the world and has owned three restaurants prior to opening The Real Meal. She is the former owner of Catering to You, a full service catering and event production company, based in Jacksonville, Florida. Chef Kitty has cooked for health restricted diets for the past 22 years, and specializes in providing weight-loss assistance.
Egan is the Operating Partner at Fresh Corner located in the heart of Gainesville, Florida. He is also a founding partner at The Real Meal and see's himself as an entrepreneurial restauranteur.
His personal goal is to change the way the world views food and to help others achieve their personal nutritional goals, while providing the best quality food possible.
Jodi is a registered and licensed dietician with a passion for wellness and helping people. Originally from Philadelphia, Jodi is an avid sports lover, and a triathlete currently training for Ironman Maryland. Jodi believes every food fits and her personal favorites include pizza and dark chocolate! Jodi completes the nutrient profile, analyzing all the ingredients in each recipe and offering alternatives based on the client’s goals.
